What Is the Hex to Text Converter?

Hex numbers (also known as hexadecimal numbers) use a base 16 numbering system, which uses the digits 0 to 9 and the letters A to F to represent its numbers.

This tool turns these hex numbers into the ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) character that corresponds with them. The characters in ASCII encoding include letters A through Z (both lowercase and uppercase), numbers 0 through 9, and many basic punctuation symbols.

How to Use the Hex to Text Converter

1. Start using the tool by entering your hex number in the "Hex" box on the left side of your screen.
2. After entering the entire hex number, convert it to text by pressing the "Convert Hex to Text" button.
3. The tool works instantly, and will display the corresponding text within the "Text" box on the right side of the screen.
4. To copy or download the text to use elsewhere, simply click either of the icons above the "Text" box.
5. If you want to convert another hex number to text, press the eraser icon over the "Hex" box, and then start this process again from step 1.
6. In order to turn things around and convert text into a hex number instead, click the "Go to Text to Hex Converter" button.
